Wouter is from a town in the centre of The Netherlands. He is studying Small Business & Retail Management and is completing a 20 week internship to develop his skills and experience;

My home City: Houten is famous for: it’s bicycle roundabout
When I was young I wanted to be a: Michelin Star Chef
I chose Australia: because it has everything; Good Food & Wine, Beaches, Career opportunities, Culture and Nature and a good nightlife
My impression of Australia before I arrived was: a big country with some big cities where everything happens….and it does hahaha
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: is that Before every official public meeting (where government is involved) they thank the Indigenous Australians for borrowing their land and using it
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia is: diving in the Great Barrier Reef
Best advice I have been given is: to always be yourself no matter what happens (my parents gave me this advice before I left The Netherlands).
My worst ever job was: working at an indoor playground for kids and replacing the diaper bags (without nose clips)
If I could live anywhere in the world I’d choose: Spain or Australia
My next trip will be to: Melbourne during Easter with my German friends
Australia described in one word: Amazing!!!
