Franziska; Health Industry Internship
This week’s intern of the week is Franziska from Germany. She is pictured above at the famous Taronga Zoo which not only provides a fantastic animal experience, but also offers some of Sydney’s best views.
Franziska is completing an internship in the health industry in Sydney;
My home city: Kleve, is a very small place close to the Dutch border and is famous for: a nice swan castle
I chose Australia: because I spent 6 month here in 2009 and loved it and formed a very close relationship with my host family
When I was young I wanted to be: a nurse
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was that it has a unique nature; the outback, beautiful beaches and the tropical north. I love all of it!
Something I learnt about Australia is: that the people in Australia are very nice and are very interested in getting to know other cultures
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia: is dive in the Great Barrier Reef
If I could live anywhere in the world I’d choose: Parkes, NSW Australia
Best advice I have been given: is to stay away from spiders and snakes
My next trip will be to: the Gold Coast with my host family
Australia described in one word: Amazing!
