Although the departure point is at 570 Flinders Street at 7.15, you may be picked up at your hotel by our vehicle if you wish.
At the southern tip of Oz is Wilson’s Promontory & that is where we are heading firstly, to visit & feed the residents of Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Park.
Of course there are cute wallabies & amazing kangaroos, but they live with their other “mates” as well — fluffy gliders, quolls & southern bettongs.
Next stop is Churchill Island where you can see the historic buildings & watch a sheep shearing, then on to see the cuddly koalas in their natural home at the Koala Conservation Centre.
There are stops, where you can stretch your legs at Nobbies & Seal Rocks Centre on the way to Summerland beach.
It is there at sunset that you will see hundreds of the cutest little penguins on their way home, waddling across the beach for the night.
Phillip Island does indeed have a lot to see in its natural beauty & wonderful wildlife.
Depending on the time of year & therefore the time of sunsets, you will return to Melbourne between 10pm in winter & midnight in summer.
