Annika; Veterinary Internship in Sydney

Annika is from Finland and completing a Veterinary internship in Australia. When she was young she wanted to become a Veterinarian so she has taken a big step to make her dream come true.

My home city: Sipoo Is famous for: The gorgeous place near the sea called Kalkkiranta
When I was young I wanted to be: Veterinarian
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia:  There’s a lot of things but one that I have to do is to go see Fraser Island.
If I could live anywhere in the world, I’d choose: Australia, 100%. I’m coming back permanently in 2017.
I chose Australia because: I’ve always been dreaming to go as far as can somewhere where weather, people and views are like they are in Australia.
My impression of Australia before I arrived: That Australians are really friendly and enjoying life without any stress from work or school. Also I imagined the beautiful beaches.
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: There are thunder storms way more often than I’d imagined
My best advice: You can achieve anything if you work hard for it.
My worst job I have held: I haven’t had any bad jobs but I worked at a dairy farm where the work hours were awful, took the whole day.
Destination of your next trip: In Australia I’m going next to Cairns but after Australia hopefully California.
Australia described in one word: Peaceful
