Kathi; Marketing Internship in Sydney
Kathi is from Germany, and when she isn’t feeding cute wallabies, she has been completing a Marketing internship in Sydney. In the coming weeks she will be travelling up the East Coast:
My home city: Essen is famous for: being “European Capital of Culture 2010”
When I was young I wanted to be: A singer
I chose Australia because: of its beautiful landscape, diversity and the warm weather.
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was easy-going lifestyle, sunny, surfers, dangerous spiders, cute kangaroos and koalas
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: that you can’t rely on the weather forecast and that there is also bad and cold weather in Australia too, unfortunately.
Before I leave Australia, I want to: travel up to Cairns and see Fraser Island and the Whitsundays and go snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.
If I could live anywhere in the world, I’d choose: Wherever my friends and family are.
Best advice I have been given is: Always think positive and make the best out of everything
My worst job was: working in a hospital and carrying blood around
My next trip will be to: Australia’s East Coast up to Cairns
