Eliza; Marketing Communications Internship in Sydney
Eliza is from Edinburgh! She is in Sydney completing a Marketing Communications internship;
My home city is: Edinburgh is famous for fish and chips
Growing up I wanted to be: an author
I chose Australia because: I’d always wanted to go and live in Australia and the internship enabled me to do so as well as gaining industry experience
My first impression of Australia when I arrived: I loved it immediately
One thing I have learnt about Australia: Winter is much colder than I expected
Before I leave Australia, I want to: Go to Uluru
If I could live anywhere it would be: Australia would definitely be up there – I want to go back for sure.
Best advice I have been given is: If you’re halfway across the world, do everything without caring. You’re not at home and so do what you want without fear.
My worst ever job was: working at a bar / restaurant which was great – until it reached the 13th hour of work
Destination of my next trip: Undecided yet but definitely thinking about it…
