Jasmijn; Digital Marketing Social Media Internship

Jasmijn is from The Netherlands and has been in Sydney since September. She is completing her internship at the end of this month and can’t wait to celebrate Australia Day;

My home city: Breda, a city in the south of the Netherlands is famous for: being known as ‘the pearl of the south’, because it’s always cozy and it’s a beautiful city.
I chose Australia: because it just popped up in my head. Since then I thought, I HAVE to go there.
When I was young I wanted to be: ….I never knew what I wanted to be, the only thing I knew was that I wanted to have a job where I have to travel the world.
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was deadly animals and surf dudes everywhere
Something I learnt about Australia is: the people are awesome, I’ve never seen it like this before. Everyone is so nice and so open, you got to love them.
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia: is celebrate Australian Day like a real Aussie.
If I could live anywhere in the world I’d choose:  Australia
Best advice I have been given: is to go to Fraser Island
My next trip will be to: Fiji
Australia described in one word: Awesome!
