Lisa; Events Management Internship in Sydney

Lisa is completing an Events internship with a company in Sydney. After having a taste of Australia 6 years ago, she had to come back;

My home city: is a small town in middle-south in Germany Is famous for: its wine and so called “kochkäse”
When I was young I wanted to be:….I never was able to answer this question – didn’t really have a vision back when I was a kid.
I chose Australia because: I had been to Brisbane once about 6 years ago & loved it. Also, I have already lived in the US and South Africa, so Australia was still on my bucket list.
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was a sunny country, fun lifestyle, relaxed people
One thing that I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before is: that it can rain a lot here.
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia: …so much actually. I haven’t traveled at all yet since I’ve started my internship right away, so there’s still a lot to do.
If I could like anywhere in the world, I’d choose: Sydney is in the top 3! I’d also love to move back to Cape Town. Just to any bigger city close to an ocean I guess.
Best advice I have been given is: you’re only young once – means so much more than just yolo I think. When if not now is the time to travel and live life to the fullest!
My worst job was: reception at a hotel…
My next trip will be: to Melbourne after Christmas I think
