Lena; Education Internship in Australia
Lena is from Germany, and currently in Sydney completing an internship at a public school to further her skills & experience in teaching. She assumed that there would be snakes & spiders everywhere throughout Australia…thankfully not:
My home city is: near a small town called Cham in southern Germany
When I was young I wanted to: be a movie star.
I chose Australia because: it seemed like a real challenge as it is so far away from home. And of course because of its landscapes, beaches and cities!
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was spiders and snakes everywhere!
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: is that Winter can be really cold here.
Before I leave Australia, I want to: skydive but this time above the beach!!
If I could live anywhere I’d choose: Probably Versailles
Best advice I have been given is: to be curious
My worst job was: …I’ve been lucky so far.
My next trip will be to: Cairns with my sister.
Australia described in one word: Overwhelming!
