Marco is from The Netherlands and is here in Sydney completing a Supply Chain Management internship;
My home city: Maastricht is famous for: the wide range of international people and culture
When I was young I wanted to: Besides the dream of becoming a professional footballer (like almost every kid), I knew very early I wanted to become a business man with international success.
I chose Australia because: I love traveling, meeting new people and learning different cultures. This was the reason I decided to come to the other side of the world.
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was full of Koala’s and Kangaroos, unfortunately it is harder to find them then you think.
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: was that there are many people from the Asian culture living in Sydney
Before I leave Australia, I want to: spot a Koala in the wild
If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be: in a beach house with an amazing view of the ocean
Best Advice I have been given is: ‘First they ask you why you’re doing it, later they will ask how you did it.’
My worst job was: as a newspaper boy
My next trip will be to: graduation
