Describe the path from your internship in Australia to your current position
After I finished my internship at an event agency, I had to do two more years of my study at that moment. In my last year, I had another chance to live abroad again so I took that chance because I loved my first time abroad with Internships Down Under. It also helped me decide that I wanted to do a masters degree abroad in event management. I delayed this for six months because of COVID, so at the moment, I am doing an internship in The Netherlands, also at an event agency.
How did the internship in Australia contribute towards reaching your current status?
During my internship in Australia, I grew a lot as a person. I learned how to stand on my own feet, to adapt to a new culture and I learned that the usual Dutch way of doing things, is not the only good way to do things. So it really broadened my perspective. This contributed to my career path, since I want to work in cultural activities later in life.
