Rachel; Marketing Internship in Australia
Rachel is from Germany and in Australia completing a Marketing internship. She chose Australia because of it’s distance from Europe, beautiful beaches and English language:
My home city: Basel is famous for: ts carneval and swimming in the river Rhine.
When I was young I wanted to: be a circus artist
I chose Australia because: it is literally at the end of the world and offers so many nice places to visit and I love spending time at the beach. On top of that I can improve my English here.
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was easy-going and open people and dangerous animals as soon as you enter the bush.
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: is that the people living here in Sydney are so sporty!
Before I leave Australia, I want to: meet the real locals; the Aboriginals
If I could live anywhere I’d choose: Surprise Surprise
Best advice I have been given is: Make the best out of every situation and enjoy it to the fullest!
My next trip will be to: round trip of Australia
