Romy; Marketing Communications Internship in Sydney
Romy is from a small town in Germany but would like to move to Hamburg one day. She is currently completing a marketing & communications internship in Sydney and has already established great new friendships with some of the other interns:
My home city: is a very small town near Stuttgart is famous for: not too much unfortunately
When I was young I wanted to be: an engineer
I chose Australia because: of the sun and I wanted to experience something completely new
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was spiders, beef, surfers
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: is kangaroos are not only cute…
Before I leave Australia, I want to: do a roadtrip and explore the Great Barrier Reef
If I could live anywhere in the world, I’d choose: Hamburg
Best advice I have been given is: to explore as much as you can, but never forget to put sunscreen on
My worst job was: working in a plastics factory on the night shift
My next trip will be to: America (Pennsylvania)
