Port Stephens – From $159
Enjoy beautiful beaches, slide down giant sand dunes, drive in a 4wd along an endless beach & sail among the playful bottlenose dolphins on the scenic Port Stephens Bay, north of Sydney.
The cruise boat; Splash along in the boom net behind the boat, watch the dolphins swim effortlessly, or relax & enjoy the view of the lovely bay from the deck with a coffee or tea from the bar.
Stockton Beach; This 32 km long beach is a great spot for a swim (in summer) or just lie around & perhaps watch the camels slowly sway by … yes camels
Behind the beach are the 30 metre sand dunes, where you can roll down or just take great photos.
For an optional $25 you can ride in a 4wd across the sand hills to find the biggest ones to slide down, drive along the endless beach & dig for the delicious shellfish, pipis.
Also, for $25 extra , you can hitch a ride on one of those smelly, snorting, swaying camels & amble along the beach (Saturdays only).
Whale watching is seasonal and is an optional upgrade of $25 (payable on the day).
You may need to choose which activity you fancy most due to lack of time.
