- Completing the Application Form:
Once you have familiarised yourself with the responsibilities of being an internship company, you are ready to proceed with the application. This form should detail the specific training and support that the host company intends to provide to the intern.
- Evaluation by Internships Down Under:
Internships Down Under will carefully assess your application, taking into consideration the training and support that you have outlined for the prospective intern.
- Presentation of Suitable CVs:
Upon reviewing your application, Internships Down Under will provide you with a selection of CVs from potential interns that match the criteria specified by your company.
- Interviews:
Interviews will be arranged between the host company and the potential intern. These interviews ensure that the training and experience offered align with the intern’s learning objectives. Valuable tips for conducting effective interviews can be found here.
- Agreement Confirmation:
Once both the intern and host company agree to move forward, Internships Down Under will supply an agreement to be signed. This formalises the placement and secures the internship arrangement.
- Timely Completion:
Our goal is to finalise this entire process at least 6 weeks prior to the requested start date of the internship. This timeline allows for adequate preparation and ensures a seamless transition into the internship period.
It’s important to note that a significant portion of our applicants originate from overseas. They typically refrain from booking travel arrangements until the internship is officially confirmed to avoid any potential logistical complications.
